Default C30 1.6D Drive Exhaust end section

Earlier this year the exhaust on my 1.6D Drive was holed and needed replacing. Advice was to replace the end section with the new middle, which was inevitable since the hanger bracket was badly corroded. The middle section is FoMoCo and common to the Focus, easily sourced. The end section was a nightmare. Various garage suppliers offered answers that ranged from 'dealer part only' to 'yeah, we can get it' (and then found it was the wrong part) to 'we can't get it from any of our suppliers'.

After some weeks looking for myself, I found it here

A fraction of the cost of the OEM part and a perfect fit. Might help others who get stuck looking for what seemed like unicorn horn at the time.

Glad you managed to source a replacement part in the end.

When it comes to fixing or replacing a part of my exhaust I think I'll be going down the custom full stainless steel system from my local Exhaust-A-Fix centre.

Lifetime warranty so won't have to worry about paying for any further repairs after that. Granted it'll be £300 or so to get a full system, but won't have to worry about it again.

Got one put on my old Astra and only had to go back 3 times. Once for hangers and twice to have small holes fixed.
