yes they look nice in the headlamps, I've had mine in for about 2 years now. As mentioned before, they go well with hid kits and have had no problems with mots with them

Are the HID conversions easy to fit? I haven't had a car without Xenons for ages and now I've got the LED side lights in the headlamps are looking like Victorian gas lights.

Yes very easy, lots of YouTube vids on how. The only thing different you need to do is to earth separately as can cause problems with the wiper motor. I did a post with some pics, will try and search them down.

On most kits you will have the red & black spade end wires that plug into the original bulb plug. Connect red to yellow but take the black to a different earth point. I connected mine to a bolt just under where the headlamp slots in.

If you decide to HID, make sure you do your research - there are lot of threads ref this. As mentioned above - earth is a must + DRL disable or manual lights switch POS0 mod. Have a read about SKBOWE aswell, just so you know what you are dealing with as on our cars HIDs can mess things up if done incorrectly.

OEM halogen lights still leaves me baffled any time I need to put my old lamps back on. How can anyone release a car with SUCH BAD lights from factory, is just beyond me...
