Run flat tyre question
Hi all
I have 2 Pirelli scorpion Verde run flat tyres on my front wheels XC60 great tyes drive like a dream. Anyway other day passenger side was completely flat so drove 2 miles max to garage near me and the tyre went to full pressure and hasn't lost any since but something just doesn't feel right when driving. How do they work ?? I am taking it to a garage tomorrow but the tyre is not that old still got 6 inches tread plus easily so don't want to be ripped off and forced to fork out a wad again |

Do you know what the cause of the flat, kerning, hitting a pot hole etc. This may have sent something out of line. I bet those tyres are great in the snow with 6 inches of tread.😁

I'm guessing your XC60 is an older version if it doesn't have sensors. You might get more replies in the forum for your car model: https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=187
I thought it was compulsory to have sensors when run-flats are fitted. Not sure if that's an MOT fail if they find out or if it impacts your insurance. Also, are you even allowed to have a mix of run-flats and normal tyres on a car?
