Default Injector swap are they coded? D5

VOLVO
S80 SE LUX D5 AUTO (MK2 (AS) (124))
DIESEL
2400
D5244T4
BHP~kW 182~136
Valves 20

Got what feels like a misfire, at 1000 revs the engine starts to shake and goes at 1100ish and the shakes again between 1500 to 1600 revs.

Does this sound like the injector? Going to get the diagnostic on It tomorrow but I have read on this site that some people have have high figures and swapped injectors and still the same figures.

Car starts ok and not noticed any smoking. Are the injectors a straight with no coding needed?

1000 rpm is when the vacuum engine mounts are turned off so if they (or the engine pad valve) aren't functioning correctly, you'll get vibration.
I would be checking them and all the engine damping components before considering injectors.

Are they vac on the P3? How many vac mounts are there and are they easy to test? Seen the old S80 had a valve in front of the battery but not on mine. Would it cause the shake at the higher revs?

Will do some research.

Now you mention it, I'm not entirely sure. I'd need to confirm on Vida.
Do you have Vida to check?

No vac mounts on ph3 cars,

What sort of miles has car done as the tappets and rollers bearings wear around that year and can cause misfire symptoms,

Does it sound like a tug boat on idle by any chance

Sounds ok on idle and no shaking. Done 92k with full Volvo history.

Glad to here no vac mounts fitted to mine.

Can all the current S80 and V70 owners with the D5 185 auto see if they get any of my symptoms. Do you get a shake/vibration at approx 15 to 1600 rpm after this the engine is smooth. Tick over is super smooth and starts on the button.

I am starting to think it maybe normal or maybe another fault like an engine mount.

No it’s not normal. I had on my P2 car a severe engine vibration/ shaking. No fault codes stored but looking at the fuel correction figures on Vida no 2 injector was out of spec. New injector fitted and she was right again. Other than the vibration it ran and drove like new. I would say it needs some Volvo diagnostic kit on it.

Wouldn't a knackered injector be crap throughout the rev range and not just 1500 to 1600 revs? Tick over is fine.

Tried the latest Delphi and some other diagnostic and would not show the injector correction figures. Going to try an older launch diagnostic next.
