Default Turbo control valve?

hi, recently my 2.0d 2009 volvo c30 has felt slower than usual and been poor on fuel. Today i scanned it with a cheap obd code reader and it came up with code P2263 turbo boost system performance. I,m guessing from the symptoms it is the turbo control valve. Does anyone have any ideas?
thank you

Best bet is clean the filters out on both of them. One is between engine and battery, other is on front of engine block underneath the fuel filter. There's a guide on youtube, although many are a slightly different type, but aren't hard to open up with a small screwdriver.

Thanks pal, Yeh I've seen a video which shows you how to open them up and clean them. I'll give it a try tomorrow

Just an update incase anyone else get the same error code/problems. I replaced the turbo control valve and the fault code cleared and the car is running normal now.

Can anyone give advice on the best way to get to the lower tcv on a 2.0l D? I have cleaned the top one but would like to do the other one at some point.

Many thanks
