Sometimes the car is fine. Other times (getting more frequent with time) I have no boost below 2k then it comes in with a bang. I also get frequent over boost as the vanes cannot react quickly enough when flooring it. Vacuum system problems will give similar symptoms so not straightforward to diagnose. However, when I start the car I can see the actuator arm moving very slowly and jerkily to the high boost position.

I understand. Can you lubricate the actuator harm, to see if it gets better before the removing of the turbo?

Hi No there is no point to lubricate the actuator arm as it is the carbon in side the vnt assembly ,

try the flooring it in 4th gear technique from 4o mph several times this can sometimes clear stuck vnt vanes and ring .
