Default PV544 odometer replacement

I'm a newbie here so please excuse any forum etiquette rules I may have broken!

I need to repair/replace the odometer and tripmeter on my PV544 (the speedo is fine). This means removing the instrument cluster.

I've removed the front seats and have lain upside down in the footwell not knowing where to start. Can anyone give me a step by step guide to the order of dismantling/refitting the gauges/lights/speedo cable etc.

(I'm quite tall and not as young as I was and not so agile! I seem to have mislaid my tame miniature octopus to help me :-)

Thanks

George May (george AT gmay.org.uk)
