Moose Test Master Member Last Online: Apr 30th, 2024 09:35 Join Date: Sep 2017 Location: Norfolk	XC90 Cranking Current Has anyone either measured, or had measured for them, the cranking current of their XC90? I have the V8 petrol which, according to the Volvo recommended battery type, draws fewer amps than the D5 but the latter would still be a good starting point. Enquiring minds would like to know, with a view to procuring a suitable current clamp. I'm aware of the cold cranking current rating of the batteries in both cases however I imagine those to be at the extreme end and that the typical average starting current is perhaps considerably less.
