"Johnsons" Huddersfield

After a few months waiting and buying stuff ...
It looks like the car will get a good going over .
New wishbone bushes, drop links, pads and discs , oils . Turbo removed and cleaned out etc .

so looking forward to the "first drive" and feeling the difference !
Hell of a way from London ..! But he has a good reputation and the family can come on the train the next day and we can all venture off around the Dales

who else uses this garage ?
And whats huddersfield like on a friday night !!!

I hear they have a high % of "Grab a Granny slag types" roaming around "hunting " in packs ?

One thing about Johnsons, if you prize your privacy, be very careful about giving them your phone number, or at least get them to agree to some very rules about how they'll use it. Else you may be plagued by their call-centre trying to drum up new servicing work, even several years after your first and only encounter.

That's a risk anytime you give out your number of course, but the Johnsons group seem to be in a class of their own for nuisance calls, or such is the opinion I have formed.

PS: My comments refer to the Johnsons Group, which have several dealerships in the Midlands and South. It might be a different 'Johnsons'!

Looks like it, in which case my cautions were irrelevant.

Not totally irrelevant though... if there's anybody else who, like me, boycots the other lot for their marketing antics - then think again, it's a common name.

These guys might be worth a shot!

And based on Mikes Car and the way he looks after it. This is why i am driving up from London to get the car serviced .
