jcev39,

The system won't allow me to send a PM. Maybe Steve can help you out.

Eric.

I have some info if you still need it, as a new member of the forum you probably can't use the private message thing yet.
I could post it on here but for those who think their alarm is much of a deterrant it might not go down to well.
If you do a good search you will find the info in the end anyway.

I did! Many thanks. I tried to reply by PM but it was blocked as I have insufficient posts...

I'm currently away on business but will have a look when I get back.

Cheers

Thats OK. Didn't know if you would get it or not. Let me know if I can explain anything better as I'm never brilliant at it.

Default Happy ending!

Thanks to all your help and comments I now have a driveable Volvo again, and one which doesn't disable itslef whenever it wants...
In fact all I did was remove the inline fuse as advised and no further problems. Central locking still works too.

Thanks all

Is there any chance you could pm me or something with the location of the inline fuse and where it is/what it looks like - our 940S has suddenly armed its volvoguard alarm, we don't have a fob and have never used the alarm. Since we live on a High Street you can imagine the problems this is causing. We haven't been able to move the car for two days because of this!!.... and I need some help please.
Thanks

I found the inline fuse, disabled the alarm and everything is back to normal.
Thanks for all your help - what an excellent thread.

Exactly the same problem. Alarm just started to work, and with no fob the car isn't working. If anyone is able to help I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks
