Default 1990 740 wheels wanted - steering and road

Does anyone have a good condition steering wheel to suit a 1990 740 (non air bag), mine has worn almost smooth in places and starting to peel in places.

Also after a steel wheel rim, one of mine is heavily corroded and despite having tried to clean up around the valve it still looses air even though I only keep it as a spare (and found it flat when I needed it today)

Thanks.

That road wheels the same so that will be handy (only over the water from me anyway), although I've got 185s on the 740 so would have to swap the tyre.

The steering wheel is not the correct type though but will keep looking.

That size of tyre will be fine as a spare as its only slightly wider. same height which is the main thing

I have a good 15" steel here, like new.

Also have 14" steels too.

You should still be able to use that wheel on your 740 though and it's a nice upgrade from the standard 740 wheel, in particular having the central pad horn push rather than the two silly buttons that are all too easily (and embarassingly!) caught while palming the wheel round in car parks! Oh yeah, it's leather bound as well!

I see that the wheel has now dropped to £5 ... bargain!! It is a Volvo recommended rim/tyre for a 1990 745. I have one in the floor pan like that!! As to the steering wheel agree ... also, more often than not, if you need to blast the horn you will be turning or the wheel wont be central ... try and find either button whilst looking at an impending coming together!!
