As i understand it, the immobiliser only prevents the starter operating so if the engine is turning over, it should start. Remove and check fuses #1, #11 and #13, renew if in any doubt.
See what you've got afterwards.

This is guard 1 as you describe guard 1 (seperate RF module on the A pillar, control module under the the steering column attached to the wiring loom)
I unplugged the control module and removed both fuses and it still just turns over. Maybe I'm wrong about the alarm being the issue. It was a good starter until this. |
