V70 2.4t & 2.5t gearbox any different

Hi all just a quick question are the V70 p2 2.4t & 2.5t manual gearboxes the same? Mine crunches going into 3rd and I can get a good gearbox of a 2.4t for nothing of a friend braking the car . Thanks. Ohh yer his is a 2001 and mine car is a 2003

Ratios may differ but the gearbox itself should be the same.

Yep I found that out lastnight the 2.4t is a M56L 4.00 and the 2.5t is M56LK 3.77 . Looks like I’ll have to keep an eye out for a 2.5t gearbox going cheap
