Hi,

recently received a car (Right hand drive) that has the engine check light on, therefore no idea exactly how the problem started.

Symptoms:

Randomly dies when coming to a stop (but only like 5% of the time, doesn't shudder just suddenly dies. Have to put vehicle in Park and restarts without problem).

Aside from that it seems to drive fine, boost builds and seems to have power.

Scanned the car and the following codes showed:

P0171 - System Too Lean Bank 1
P0107 - Manifold Absolute pressure/barometric Pressure sensor circuit low
P0237 - Turbocharger/Supercharger boost sensor "A" circuit low.

Based on reading other posts this would appear to indicate the boost sensor? located at the rear of the air intake box?

I really want to pin point the issue before just spending money and replacing unnecessary parts.

After peoples suggestions? is there a way to test to the boost sensor with volti-meter or something or am I best switching in another?

If it is boost sensor and I replace it will the engine check light simply turn off. I'm guessing P0107 and P0171 are the result of the P0237?

Cheers for the input!
