Sensus Nav Map Update.

New map update is now available to download.
Version 31421838 dated 05/11/2015.
I note the download is slightly larger, at 17.55 GB.

Checking on the site it shows the maps as 22/04/2015 version 31421079, not the same as you suggest and not an update

Where were you looking to get a different version?

I also got the old version, but when I entered via a different route, came up with the new version as well!

Hopefully better than the last version! I drove to Europe twice this year and it gave very badly wrong directions on at least 3 occasions.

Twice in Switzerland where I know the roads very well as I was bought up there, the first time I was just unsure as it was 2 AM and lots of roadworks going on so I figured maybe it knew something I didn't. It took me off a motorway and tried to direct me 30 odd miles to Zurich via A roads for absolutely no reason.

Two other glaring errors as well, one coming back on a French motorway and it decided to take me via Paris which was very much out of my way. I wasn't familiar with the route so followed the directions it gave me, within seconds my ETA went up by nearly an hour so no idea why it decided to redirect me onto a longer route.

Hello Swishy, Though you'd emigrated.........or traded yours in for something else and no longer a forum follower!

At least your Nav didn't send you to southern Italy when putting in your nearest Ikea store!! Think I posted the pics of the route somewhere on the forum.

Nav update is still a 50 minute download to desktop even with 50 meg download speed!

Will be updating to my car later today and post any obvious changes or improvements to the layout but guess it will just be route updates as per the last two.

My iPad gave me the new link and desktop the old one.
Downloading just now.
Previous downloads took 8 hours and 6 hours.
Got fibre broadband in August (37 Mbs) and it looks like the download is going to take around 1hr 50mins.

Just put memory stick into USB port of the car and it said upload would take 1 hr 50 mins!! That's after taking 50 mins to load to PC and another 35 mins copying opened file contents to a memory stick.

Last two updates to car took about 40 to 50 mins so let's hope they've added some more functionality to this update!

Will need to use the nav tomorrow so will report any enhancements.
