Default Xc60 my17

Just had a drive into my local dealers to cast my eye on the XC60 again, as i still havent made my mind up for my next company car.

I spoke to the sales guy and he said theres no major changes for the MY17 version of the XC60. They gave me a printout of the price list and now they will only do the nav versions of the car. All cars come with keyless entry as std and R design models get a smarter alloy wheel design. Sadly they have added some new colours, but the bursting blue i wanted, is a premium colour only, which i cant afford (well i can but im not willing to pay for it!)

I think the new MY is now the only one orderable.

Anyway, thats my news of the day, maybe the info is useful for someone!

I've also seen my17 pricelist, some interesting changes..

T5 introduced - yes a petrol again. Nearly said yippee, but it's fwd only on the spec sheet I was shown, so all that power through 2 wheels - torque steer happy I bet?

Also seem to have dropped 4-C's chassis option - booooo!

The new colour "Mussel blue" looks nice on sample card, although the mussel's I've seen around our coast are almost black, so Sweden must have different pale to mid blue types, maybe?

Dealers don't get told all the changes that happen. For instance the wiring loom was changed between MY2014 and MY2015 so the rear view camera could no longer be dealer fitted. My local dealer had to re order a car because of that.

I'm guessing the VEA D4 will have a different EGR.

4C is still an option on the configurator. (Not for the R Design of course)

Configurator is still for MY16 models. Apparently will be changed during April, when MY17 downloadable pricelists will also be available to the 'public'... prob within next 2 weeks according to dealer.

Just have to get the V60 Polestar. That will still have

I notice the VEA D5 will be available to order. Not in AWD unfortunately. It is quick though, 0-62 in 6.5 seconds. (and that's before the Polestar upgrade)

Yeah. The latest version with 367hp sounds lovely. Don't know if the Mrs would allow me though. I could always have it "debadged" then she wouldn't know, until she borrowed it of course!! 😀

Volvo UK must have had a serious rethink! For the good!!

My wife took delivery of a new XC60 T5 R-Design just 3 weeks ago and boy does it move! Geartronic is super smooth, car is very fast when you want to and the torque steer only appear only appear under full throttle. If Volvo would have offered an AWD model we would have gone for it. The new VEA petrol engines are very very quiet and a bit hard to believe how quiet they are. Can hardly be heard at all.

It is also very frugal, can easily do 35 mpg on a nice run on avg, 28 mpg when pushed at speeds in excess of 3 digits.

The T5 can be Polestared to 254 bhp should you so wish, at least here.

Sooooo pleased we choose this over a rattly diesel!

There's a thread over at the Showroom section.

Versions. S60 V60 so far.

Has all the details here... Notice it puts out a little less power than in the XC90.
