Default D1S Xenon bulb replacement

I have spent ages looking for a good deal to replace one of my HID's and came across this on Ebay.

Any thoughts??

Genuine Volvo bulbs have a 70,000 burn life IIRC. They are expensive, but to fully compare them, you would need to see how long other bulbs last!

The next time I'm replacing bulbs, which hopefully won't be for 60,000 miles, I'm gonna look at other options as I want to experiment with temperatures. Just try and make sure the bulbs are genuine Osram/Philips as I seem to recall the market being flooded with cheap copies.

One of my headlamps failed last August and I then realised that my MOT expired the following day ! I was horrified when i looked at Volvo replacements at over £100 each ! I looked on the net and found these . They are 5000K as per original and have been /are excellent At £25-99 for two plus a little postage they arrived the next day . And come with 12 month warranty .

I decided to keep some spare so found these on e-bay
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-X-Car-Au...item51a77bfb5e
even cheaper at
£8-39 for two posted ! These are 6000K so ever so slightly more blue than original but still great value.out of the two sets the second cheaper set looked more original right down to the case label . The only difference is that it didn't have Phillips printed on it.
Well worth a try and if they blow after a year I cant complain as I'm nearly £200 better off.

I have these on my XC90. I was disappointed by the original Osram Xenons which had naturally degraded over time, the night breakers are awesome a great upgrade.

Bought a pair of Philips 4300k off eBay recently for 70 euro, had Volvo fit them in Friday to replace my 7 year old Volvo osram bulbs and I have to admit I think I have bought fake ones, the lights are downright dangerous, very blue (should not be at 4300k) and very diluted light, full beak flash I'm only seeing the halogens, im disgusted, did a night drive after installation with wife and 2 kids in the car and it was frightening.... I'm really annoyed
