Thanks. And I still have not learnt to upload photos!

So. How about the sound.
  • Is it the installation like being nudged up the rear of one's own car by HMS QE II as opposed to sounding to other road users ??
  • Can one still do a gentle refined toot ?? That is often the most useful use of the horns. if they are going to be used.

It does seem like something that, should do the trick.

depending on set up. I have a “missile” switch next to the cig lighter to arm the air tank. Then have a small push style button to use the horn next to it. Depending on how long you hold button down you can get a fast blip or hold for full on. The sound bounces off the road so gives more ehco.
Sound in side of car is not as bad as you think. I think just the amount of air shifted it gives me extra 2 mph boost!

Interesting!

I'm not sure about "arming" the air horns at the beginning of each journey. I tend to forget the horn but remember instinctively where the buttons are if needed. That is partly why I use an earlier model 240 steering wheel.

An extra 2 mph ??? .... Cushti! ...

.

Such big horns use a lot of air. The tank is not very big and does need filling back up depending how much you use the horn.
