Smile Glove box/wing mirror

Hi Chaps,

I need to change the glove box. Do you know what torx screw size the screws are? Think they're T25? I damaged the glove box with a washing machine lol

Also do I have to take the door panel off to change the wing mirror or can I just pop the triangle cover off to access the retaining nut?

Thank you in advance.

Yes on the T25 (buy a set while you're at it) and yes on the triangle.

There is a small damper that needs detached at it's upper attaching point, it breaks 80% of time, go slowly and pull it horizontally at that point, then add some grease before popping it back in place.

It was a bit Frank Spencerish! I was in Seaford and picked up a washer dryer as I moved house and needed more space? I han no idea if it would fit b4 I bought it off some guy on EBay!

Anyway he was an washing machine engineer and we stripped off the outer casing pushed the seat back and with some euclidean geometry and swearing we got it in! Dodgy really as it wasn't upright! I strapped it up though!

Tardis would've been ideal though!

Thanks for all the replies. Yeah I had a T25 screwdriver. Getting the piston strut on it's attachment was a got with big hands.Triangle just popped off and on no probs.

The door panel had to come off to reach the multiplug. Two T25s on the handle and 8 pop fasteners. Easy job.

Cheers
