Default S60 T3/T4 Timing belt interval

I cannot for the life of me find the information for this anywhere, all i can find is people mentioning 108k or 10 years for diesel engines?

Is the 1.6 t3 ford derived engine also a 10 year 108k interval? Or 60k 6 years.

Thanks!

Surely a timing belt can't last 144k? That's insane.

But thanks anyway, can i ask where you found this information? Thank you.

I believe the 2.0ltr D4 (181hp) VEA is also 144k miles. At least that is what I gathered via the service price indicator page on the Volvo website.

yes they can when proper materials are used , most ford engines have been that interval for the last 14 years with no problems , also the new volvo engines since 2015 .

You will find the info in the volvo VIDA service information .or simply ask your dealer service department .

Hi guys. Sorry to dig an old thread again but I’m stumped with this. Plug the car (1.6 T3 MY2013) into Vida (2014) and it’s giving me 144,000 for the cam belt. But the dealer and Volvo cars uk are saying it’s 108,000- I even asked for confirmation as to wether a service bulletin had dropped the miles and was told it’s always been 108. They sent me an image with b4164tx stating 108k. So why is there conflicting information? Ford have it at 150k I believe.

VIDA always has the correct information - 144000 miles / 10 years for the ford based 1600 turbo . 108000 is for the 5 cylinder engine … where is your image ?
