Out of interest guys, do you know if this car will have the remote engine start option with the Volvo on Call?

That's not necessarily connected to having Volvo on Call or not. So you can't tell just by the fact it has VoC.

Going to look next week, have put deposit down. Spec as follows:

2015 D5 AWD Se Lux Auto
Heated seats
Heated windscreen
Laminated windows
Keyless drive/personal car communicator
Lane departure warning
Driver alert control
Adaptive cruise
Front/rear park assist
Rear reversing camera
Sensus Connect with Harmon Kardon stereo
18" Leda wheels
Tinted rear windows/boot

1 owner from new (Apparently a doctor that did a lot of motorway miles), 3 years old next month. Full Volvo service history. 63,000 miles.

27/08/15 PDI
24/08/16 1st service
21/02/17 2nd service
14/02/18 3rd service

Anything I need to look for? Auxiliary belt change? Transmission fluid change? Cambelt change?

Can someone confirm if this car would be a 2015-AT 1446 or a 2015-AT 1420? Trying to download the manual from the Volvo website and I'm not sure what the difference is....

Thanks in advance!
IF you are buying from a Volvo dealer, you should get approved used warranty for 12 months, they also offer a 3 year service plan with monthly payments which includes breakdown cover, mots, puncture repair. Mine is costing £36/month but covers for timing belt change.

Hi there, yes I am buying from Volvo.

I have looked at their service plans online, for the car I am looking at they want:

Initial set up payment of £57.94
5 payments of £88.37
23 payments of £54.01

Total cost of £1741.93 for 3 years (£580.64 per year).

It doesn't say what is included though. Will be asking the question!

Just had a look and it appears it covers the following:

Labour and engine oil for all scheduled services is taken care of, along with a wide range of parts (if applicable) including; oil filter, diesel fuel filter and diesel particulate filter), pollen filter, air filter, spark plugs, washer fluid, cambelt, auxiliary belts, and tensioners. Therefore all items associated with the cost of a Volvo scheduled service including the cost of materials, cost of labour and VAT. Plus, only Volvo-trained Technicians will work on your vehicle and will only use Volvo approved lubricants and parts.

With the mileage at 63,000 already I presume the service plan will cover as mentioned above the cambelt, auxiliary belt, tensioners, gearbox fluid change at 100k miles, etc.

So probably worth doing?

Have you asked/been told if the auxiliary belt & tensioner have been changed? This is very important on these engines and would normally be scheduled for the year 4 or 5, 54k mile service.

Hi Andy,

No, I haven't been to the dealer yet (have been waiting for the car to arrive).

I will ask the question!

Thanks
