Default HTC Droid Incredible Bluetooth connection Phone Book

I have a new xc60 2011 with the infotainment systems with color screen. The BLUETOOTH PHONE COMPATIBILITY list this phone as appropiate for connection. I concented my HTC droid incredible without problem but I cannot get my phone book to transfer.

Please, could anybody have an answer of how to transfer the phone book from my phone to the car? I followed all the instraction and click in the right places but I can see maybe one contact the first time but since then nothing.

Thanks,

My HTC HD2 just wouldn't work right so had to chop it in for a Samsung Galaxy, which works great. Something to do with Windows and bluetooth.

If you have an Android phone, have you copied your contacts to your phone or are they still on the SIM card? I think you need to have them onto your phone.

Thanks for the reply.

As I understand it the incredible is a non-World CDMA phone, no SIM slot. I do have all the contact numbers on my phone and not in other option that is the SD card.

Yep - this worked for me although I could only upload 4-5 contacts at a time.

Not that helpful I know, but the wife's HTC Wildfire works absolutely fine in my car.

Yeah, despite the name the HTC "smart" is not actually a smart phone and the easy way to install the phonebook to bluetooth was not possible. My son (me being a bit of a ludite), found a way to transfer the phonebook using a different way. It might help this poster so thought I would refer to the original thread. Suppose it must be difficult for car manufacturers to keep track of all the different operatuing systems!

I know, but its still very annoying when the Bluetooth system is supposed to be a universal standard.

Yes, as I have said previously the Volvo system falls a little short of some other car manufacturers in that respect but that being said I still love the car.
