Where's the best place for parts?
Hello,
Time to service the old 144 (1972 DL) and I need some parts: Points + Plugs, Condenser, Air Filter. I am also searching for a few exhaust gaskets: manifold + flange gaskets both need replacing. Can anyone suggest a supplier? Much appreciated! Miles |

http://www.classicvolvoparts.co.uk/
http://www.amazoncars.co.uk/ Use them both myself , would thoroughly recommend. For some reason , Brookhouse don't seem to list the 140 models on their website. However, the B20 engine in your 142 was also used in later (1968 on) Amazons , and parts such as gaskets etc. will often be common to both cars , esp. if yours is a carb model , rather than FI. Maybe the best place for Old Volvo Parts
www.gcp.se Genuine Classic Parts is the only company dedicated to the service of Volvo Vintage Cars in a joint venture with the Volvo Car Corporation. www.vp-autoparts.com VP Autoparts is a Swedish supplier of spare parts for the classic Swedish Volvo cars. We supply our own range of quality restoration parts which are specified to meet original quality. We use materials according to Volvo specifications. www.cvi-automotive.se Good parts, good price, but closed during winter |

Brookhouse apparantly, don't have everything on their website so I phoned by chance one and ended up using them for everything for my 144 including side trim when I needed it. Worth a phone call.

Try this one, on the left hand side you can choose your car/model etc, They have an online catalog, not sure they ship all over the world...?

Very good place for parts.
Sir,
I have a 93 volvo 240 wagon. The best place to get parts is eEuroparts.com. Very good service and always ready to ship. Randy |
