front bumper question

Hi

My 1973 has a slim front bumper, without the curve below the grill as on earlier 164s.

My bumper has been damaged in the past and ideally I'd like to get a better one.

My question: except for the lights fitted to it, can anyone tell me whether the '73 164 bumper the same as a 140 bumper? If so, it will increase my odds of finding a good one.

no, it´s not

164´s bumper is differnet to 140-series

Why not change it to the better looking pre 73 type with the drop down?
