Default Polish headlights

Car needed a bit of TLC so bought a DA polishing machine. Gone over the whole car and noticed that it polished up the fine scratches on the taillights to make them look like new. Then decided to try the head lights too and the result speaks for itself. Quite impressive, still slight scratches n chips in them but much clearer than before.

Yes das do a great job on yellowed headlights dont they. Best bit is its ten mins per side max once they are masked up.

Worth bearing in mind that one of the main reasons for them yellowing is the acidic cleaners used at grit and go wash stations - particulalry when there is a long queue and the product then dwells for longer than it should.

As long as its a medium cut pad and medium cut compund or less ive always found it fine. To be safe use a light pad and compound and take a bit longer
