Default Climate Control Unit Replacement

Thanks for reading. The Climate Control Unit on my 57 V70 has packed in, the main dealer very kindly told me the part code (30782903) and has offered to reprogramme a used unit once installed (v. the £850.00 he quoted me for a new one!) My faulty unit has the Parking sensor disable and interior alarm override switches fitted below the AC on/off button. The 30782903 units I can see on EBay don't have those two switches - can they be moved over or do I need to buy a 30782903 with those two additional switches already fitted?

Thank you and kind regards,

Peter.

It seems the buttons can be replaced bottom of the page

As for whether the unit already has the function for new buttons, I would wild guess it does as it has only two electrical connectors with several pins each.

Remember to have the ignition key in position II any time the battery is disconnected (before removing the climate unit) or reconnected.
