Default Sidelight Wires

Hello all,

I have recently picked up a P3 V70 R-Design.

My first port of call was to fit better bulbs, but on checking it seems that the previous owner has snapped the sidelight wires and wrapped them in electrical tape causing any bulbs to flicker.
The manual states to pull on the wires to remove the bulb which is obvious why this has happened. Stupid design. I have tried various ways with the wires in hope the connections will work to no avail.

So my question is, can the bulb holder and a part of the wire be replaced?
Or is this a case of a new headlight?

Ok - a few mins looking, and the W5W bulb seems to need a T10 bulb holder.

Plenty on ebay

or on amazon here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Truck-Light-.../dp/B00AKX813U

Maybe worth a look? Just solder onto the wire and cut the old one off. Maybe use a heat shrink sleeve to finish it properly

From what I remember when I upgraded my bulbs, looks very similar

Good luck!
