Red K reg Edinburgh-based 940 Volvo for parts?

We have a much loved red Volvo 940 K reg (1989?) that we would like to go to someone who could keep it going or use for parts. Would this be of interest to anyone or will it have to go for scrap? It's only done 100k miles so engine should be fine and we've replaced lots of other parts which will therefore have some life. Are there any Edinburgh 940 owners out there? We know there are because we keep seeing you about. Can we help keep your cars alive even if it's too late for ours? MOT until Feb and only issue is that alternator becoming unreliable. Cheers!
