I wonder if Volvo found reliability a problem when using a manual on the 3.0L or if it was more down to what people wanted to buy ?

I missed out locally on a shabby V90 that had a 3litre manual setup.
Vaguely remember seeing something about manual transmission being an option on 3litres, but suspect demand was so low here and in the USA back then that very few sold. |

No need, you can just make out the clutch slave in the firewall next to the booster.
Don't think the M90 had any reliability issues when handling the torque of the 3.0 whiteblock. They had 267 Nm @ 4300 rpm vs 264 Nm @ 3450 rpm for a B230FT. Last edited by baggy798; Dec 9th, 2014 at 21:47. |
