(Silver C70) What is my colour name/code?

Sorry to have to ask this, but, I won't be able to get to the car until the weekend. My mum has advised that some contrators at work have hit the silver C70, CCTV is never one so cannot prove it was them (they have hit other cars during the week also).

So, can anyone please advise what colour name/code my silver C70 is please so I can order up some paint etc and look at sorting it this coming weekend?

Without having the paint code or vin it's hard to tell the colour...
V5 will only say 'silver'
Maybe better to wait until you can get to the car and check the vin plate, paint code will be there.

It looks like it might be 426 but the easiest remote solution would be to ring a volvo dealer such as FRF as they might be able to pull up the paint info just from the registration plate.

I was just thinking, the C70 didn't come in many variations of colours (e.g 10 different types of silver) so someone may have known of the top off their head.

acshortt5 - Good thinking on the reg plate look up - will give FRF a call.

I was just hoping to try and get the paint etc ordered up so it would be waiting for me at the weekend when I get home rather than have to get the details and then wait a week to get some paint.

I don't know how Volvo UK does, but here in Sweden everything goes on reg number, which is a real pain everywhere, since my C70 is a UK import. First time I had to ask Volvo for advice on a part, they asked me the reg numer, I said it's a UK number, but I have the VIN here, they just stared at me...
Now it's Swedish registered, but as it's not a Swedish built car, as they say (it bloody is built in Sweden) they can only pull up the generic information and information that I have filled in for when it was first registered here.

Anyway, good it sorted out for you.
