Default Nurburging via Reims trip

I've planned a few UK meets for this year and thought I'd plan a Nurburging trip travelling via the historic race circuit of Reims.

If anyone is interested it's going to be around October and 3 days / 2 nights, most of us are doing the Calais to Folkestone route in Euro star.

Just gauging an interest at this stage, I'm most likely talking the xc90 and doing a ring taxi lap, so no need to have a fast Volvo

We are 'newbies' but Nurburgring is on our 'bucket list'. Would be interested depending on dates fitting in with work commitments. Please keep us in the loop.

I am probably due to go past there some time around October - low season in the Alps, that's when the work happens! Keep me posted on dates. Have been to the Ring but not *on* it, having talked to the blokes at Practical performance Car about their trip down there with a 27 litre Rover SD1 (Meteor RR tank engine...). Apart from Eurostar (which is a shocking old bag of rocks these days), don't ignore the Harwich overnight ferry. An early start from the Hook of Holland can have you at the ring by Lunchtime!

I've tried to round up people on Volvo sport but they seemed to have fizzled out at the moment so it's something I will be planning, however some of the people driving to Gothenburg are travelling via the ring
