I was bidding on a car like yours on ebay, not exactly the same but the pro's and cons of both cars equalled them out i would say. Went for over 2 grand!
I would think partly due to it being diesel. Seems on ebay a v70 diesel is twice the price of an equivalent petrol.

OK - i confess that I rounded that down from £4450 for "effect". Its done 120k but needed a cambelt service, the wheels were very tatty (but now refurbed & perfect) & the boot has suffered from carrying large dogs - needs more detailed cleaning. But drives great, all works, now looks great - well pleased!

I think £2700 would be a fair price to put it up at...

Hi Chris,

We are looking for a V70 tdi to replace our 940, although had hoped for an auto as I am getting lazy. Could you pm me to discuss the price. There seems to be a lot of debate about the value! Silly question, is oak a very light grey, almost off white, and why are the back two seats different? We are in Newcastle so a day out in York to see the car is easy for us. Jonathan.

Hi Chris, sorry, apparently I can not reply to your pm as I have not been on the forum long enough, but got both your messages thanks. PM me your e-mail or number, and I have a few questions to ask. Jonathan. (P1800S coupe 1966 and 940 estate 1997)
