Little lockdown project. Picked up the same wrap yesterday. Did you remove the trim pieces to do the wrap, or did you do it in situ?

good job, I was considering this for mine when I had door cards off, replacing temp sensors and window runner plastic bits..

but when I looked I couldn't work out how to get that bit off without doing damage, also the door lever looks very close to the edge and seemed like it would rub if I added thickness?? and there was that spring in there that made me think 'well that wont go back in without a lot of swearing'

so I chickened out lol

Interestingly on yours it looks like the outer part of the strip is seperate to the 'pocket' where the door lever sits. so if that pops off as one piece it would be easy to do. on mine it's all one piece so I'd have to either take the lever out or cut neatly around it which would look rubbish

Yes i removed the trim. It's a pig to remove the plastic from the door case. The star washers need to prized up with a small screwdriver whilst turning.

Fyi I removed the metal cover over the plastic trim. I believe it allowed the vinyl to seat better. Regarding the pull handle cup, I left it all in place and cut the vinyl so that it sits in the lip where the metal would finish. Been done for several months now no sign of wear or peeling.
