If you can get it off, that would be much appreciated.
Many thanks. James.
Not sure if you replied, but did you have any luck in removing the AC condenser clamp? Its notched and fixes the 2 ac pipes to the condenser with a securing bolt in the centre. If you look under drivers side you will see the pipes leading to condenser and the clamp. The bolt may come out!

Many thanks. James

It is the complete fitting with the bulb holder that I need.I have the two wires with conectors on them but no fitting.

I'm confused too Mark. On my 760 the ash tray illumination (on the front - i'm guessing we're still talking about the same thing?) the bulb is a replaceable one in a holder that has a bayonet fitting into the back of the upper centre console above the ash tray. If it's the rear one, i can't remember but could probably look later.

On the front one, the two wires connect to the holder with removable connectors (none of this "special Volvo bulb" stuff!), i'd hazard a guess the rear is the same but as i say, i could probably look later to see if i can help any.

In the breaker car there is just a connector for the bulb to fit into and a little metal clip
