Volvo D5 V90 CC Issues
Hi all,
New to volvo and new to the forum. Wanted to get some thoughts on the condition of my 2017 D5. Picked it up with 22,000 miles and have put 6000 miles on it over the past 4 months. Had it’s service last week with a new dealership nearer to where I live and they found a few issues after I reported an intermittent oil burning smell. The purchase from the dealership was a bit dubious but I wanted to ask about the slight oil leak from the rear crankshaft seal area and spot around the exhaust manifold and egr pipe. The new dealership said these were slight issues just outside of warranty and that I should talk to the selling dealership about covering some of the cost. It was clear the selling dealership didn’t do a 150 point check before sale as the PP was gone and frost passenger front support was broken off. The car also smelled of fresh paint but they denied it and said it was interior cleaning agent. In any case, are these significant problems to try and address as soon as possible or merely things to keep an eye on, as the new dealership suggested? I’ve attached the dealer report. Otherwise it’s a wonderful motor that far surpassed my old 2015 e250 estate. However I suspect that the e class was a much better long term ownership prospect!

Did you get a used car warranty when you purchased the car, if so get the dealer you purchased the car from to sort out the leaks,

Why not? Have you had some kind of altercation with them?
