C70 2007 Roof beeping during drive

Hello everyone here!

My name is Dominik and this is my first post here.
Few days ago I bought volvo c70 2007 T5, car is in perfect condition with just 28 000 miles on the clock, been serviced every 5000 miles and maintained really well. The problem is when roof is closed, car during the drive is beeping and showing error message 'STOP SAFELY ROOF CAN BE DAMAGED'. I notice that front part of the roof is closing perfect but the boot stayed not fully closed, like the last bit of closing is not working, and also I can't open boot. When I keep pressing closing button I am hearing noise of the roof engine that can't finish closing (engine is trying to finish the last bit but can't and it is not stopping making sound). When I am opening roof everything work perfectly fine, roof is completely folds in the boot, boot is closed, and during drive is no beeping noise. I tried to manually close roof at the back, but it is still showing error message during drive, and beeping.

Do you have any idea what problem it can be ?

As Baxlin says, welcome to the forum. I also own a C70 which I love. I don't know the definitive answer to your issue, however I do know there are a load of sensors in the roof mechanism & it sounds like one of these is up the creek. Google : 2007 Volvo C70-Full details. It may help with your quest to discover the issue, it is a very detailed document.
From your description it sounds as though when you close your roof the bit that locks the boot lid in place before the windows shut is not engaging, you can see it pull down the extra little bit just before the windows go up and hopefully get the roof closed message. Then when you drive it picks up that the boot lid has not been locked in place (at the rear screen end of the boot lid). This is just a thought on my part and I may be completely incorrect but I'd like to think it helps.

Thank you guys, I didn't have really time to enjoy c70 yet, to stop the alarm I have to take off a fuse but I am loosing the radio and whole dashboard with Aircon. I tried also replace the battery, I read that drained battery might cause this problem, but it is not that. I will check your idea tomorrow.
