This beloved Volvo of mine is in immaculate condition inside, outside and under the bonnet. The car has been well maintained and has a full service history (part via Volvo dealer). The mileage is low of 74,850 and recent work includes a full service, replacement brake master cylinder and a brand new replacement electronic throttle unit (original Volvo) that cost £500 from the dealer in Warrington.

My asking price for the car is £1,250 (ono).

S70 Saloon 2.5 20v SE 4 door Automatic 1998 S Reg. with genuine 74,850 miles, Metallic Beige colour, ABS, Adjustable seats, Adjustable steering column/wheel, Air conditioning, Alloy wheels, Anti theft system, original Radio/CD/Cassette player, Central locking, Child seats, Colour coded body, Computer, Cruise control, Driver airbag, Electric mirrors, Electric windows, Fog lights, Front armrest, Head restraints, Headlight washers, Heated seats, Leather seats, Locking wheel nuts, Metallic paintwork, Power Assisted steering, Remote locking, Side airbags, Spoiler and Traction control. There are 2 previous owners. The MOT was due on 11/12/2011 but has been allowed to expire. However I am willing to offer a new full 12 months MOT to the buyer.

My reason for selling is because I have inherited another car from my parents and our drive is not big enough to keep this Volvo as we have three other cars in the family!

The car is now also listed in the 850 / S70 & V70 '96-'99 / C70 '97-'05 General forum - I could not find the classic P1 forum which you refer to.

That's the right forum...it's simply that the Phase 1 (P1) V70 like I have is commonly referred to as the "classic" ('96-'99 model years) so I tend to refer to it as the "classic" forum.
