Winter tyres in the 20" size:

https://www.oponeo.co.uk/tyre-finder...r=1/255-35-r20

I swapped to the 19" triple five spoke wheels on Nokian winter tyres (£1800 from Volvo for the set) because in that size there is more tyre choice (no all-season tyres at all available in the 20" size).

I'll run them as winters and swap over with the original 20" wheels twice a year until they were out, and will then put All Season tyres on...

Have you worked out which all-seasons you'll likely go for? Interested as I'm running 19s and also thinking about moving to all seasons when the time comes to replace my tyres.

Nokian Weatherproof I expect. I had them before on my previous car.

It depends how hot your summer is.
I got days where we had 36-37º C out there, the tarmac would be much hotter than that, and that simply takes the Michelin Crossclimate apart.
Didn't notice this during a full year, with 1 snow season and 1 summer season but when I arrived to the second snow season, I started to notice some grip issues and after the second summer, the tire was simply destroyed, only with 25.000 km done.

Maybe this tire works well for UK with a lot of rainy days and maybe some snow days because you don't have such hot temperatures in the summer. But for European mainland and Alps conditions, this is a very bad tire.
