Nip over to Superswede I think he has a forum section, there will be one of them will know what it is in an instant.
I'm going for a thingumejig that alters the sound of the zorst. In all seriousness it says Nivel on the label and a google of nivel volvo throws up oil level so I'd say it's a low oil level sensor. Last edited by SnineT; Sep 30th, 2022 at 20:01. |

Its an oilpressure switch 100%
Just check in the dash if the oilpressure light lights up or not in relation with connection or not. Some later models (mine) (arround 2005/2006 earlier and later models had one)had no oilpressure switch ,also no connection just a blindplug... I fitted an oil pressure switch with own wiring and red led in the dash, because also the pinout on the ecm for the oilpressure sensor didnt work on mine . Oillevel sensor is under the oilpan and works /dont know if euro 3 has an oillevel sensor Last edited by 5cilinder; Sep 30th, 2022 at 22:35. |
