Default What am I missing from my Zenith 36 VN?

Hi all
Been tinkering with my 121 Amazon today and noticed that there was nothing connecting the choke flap to the choke mechanism (Photo). The choke flap just rotates freely. I could not see anything on the attached diagram that might do the job. I guess its not going to be easy to find a replacement. Might try Burlen on Monday, but think its a Volvo specific part.

While looking directly below the carbs to see if something might have dropped into the lower wishbone pan I found the "dog bone" looking plastic piece. It listed as a "plastic retainer" for the float. Any ideas where it supposed to go?

Also does anyone have a good source of information (book, web page) on rebuilding the Zenith 36VN. Mine is clearly leaking!

Phil

I've got a scrap carb in the shed, I'll see if I can figure out what's missing on yours tomorrow.

This is what you need. It appears that the lever is not supposed to come off the spindle. Regards, Andy.

Yes, it's no use to me, as I've got another anyway.
