That's my thinking too.
I did mention to the garage about using a switch is already used for the parking sensors etc... On the centre console, below the a/c, with s little green light in it. There's even a button blank already there too..... I've just spent the last twenty minutes looking I in eBay for just a switch/button, but only seem to get while consoles. Parking sensors switch, BLIS switch, rear AC switch.... Any other options on xc90s that came with illuminated switches?

Fly, meet ointment. I see from my eBay wanderings that the buttons in question are part of the climate panel, and, more than that, there's a circuit board these plug into, thereby making it, to my mind, improbable that something could be wired up behind in the space in question.
Back to the drawing board.....

Pulling the appropriate fuse would achieve the same thing (not so elegant of course).
Once you've done it a couple of times, it'll become second nature Cheers Dave |

Easy button is a single push switch. None of them are toggle switches. If you want to toggle anything, you need to open up the switch, adapt the circuit board, bring out flying wires and control an relay using an electronic control circuit.

Sounds complicated. Or possibly expensive on the time front. I'm not competent to undertake it mylsef, so would be paying the garage to do.
May just have to go for a basic switch, mounted inside the armrest or something. Not as elegant, but not as rough and ready as popping fuses in and out on any journey longer than 15 minutes. I'll attempt to update with images once done.
