Top class metalwork and fabrication!
The Suffolk & Essex Section of the owners club meet each month at the Orwell Crossing truck stop (A12 Eastbound, Felixstowe side of the Orwell bridge). Everybody is welcome - not just bearded old farts and we'd love to see your car and yourself. Mollusk (NSVA and NSRA IN THE 70's) |

I keep coming back to your posts! Really want to chop my moredoor as well. One came up for sale last year here in the Netherlands but it was an unfinished project and it looked like they gave up because they messed up. Didn't wanna get burned on that!
Anyway, you mentioned lexan as the read window glass, did you ever check this out; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pl5nm48pYFc Looks like it could work for our Volvo glass as well Another question; did you take the roofskin from the donor or made it from plate steel? If so, did you have to roll it into shape in an English wheel? And why not just use filler pieces front to back and side to side, it was only a couple of inches. Haven't done anything like this before so sorry if I ask stupid questions |

I just found the thread Matt and am enjoying the build process. Your fabrication skills are great. Keep up the good work.
