Default 2 dr amazon side trim fitting

Ive had the shell painted and now Im fitting back on as much trim as I can . The narrow chrome strips under the windows should use little white clips which I've bought from brookhouse but the fattter lugs don't seem to fit in the holes .Is there a trick to replacing them please ?

Hi ya ,

Sounds like you have the early thin flat trim that goes under the windows , but you have bought the later type for the rounded trim which does use the later clip system .

So you need the early metal type clips as they have a smaller hole then you pop rivet on the clips to then push the trimm on the car .

Hope that helps

Kind regards
