Default Few issues with 1.6D

Hi All,
New here, just picked up my S40, 2006.
I’ve noticed when driving sometimes, it occasionally feels like someone is touching the brakes. Just a slight bit of resistance now and then.
Anyone got any idea what could cause this?

Also, now and then, the anti-skid service required message comes up... not every journey, but when it does come up, if you restart the car, it goes away!
I’ve been researching the forum for other issues like this, but couldn’t find anything.

Thanks in advance, Phil
