Risk of car going to sleep mode
My recent purchase of V50 2.0 2012 has an aftermarket door remote. The keyless entry has been disabled by the previous owner. The main dealer informs me that there is a risk of the car 'going into sleep mode' when plugged into Vida when it is being serviced. This is due to potential unauthorised tampering by third party garages. Is this risk real? Has anyone experienced V50 getting disabled by Vida? The car has service history with the dealer upto 2018. Beyond that it was worked on by third party workshops. Should I be worried about letting the dealer plug the car into Vida?
