I have one for sale if you're interested. Only gets BBC1 & ITV and there's no remote control, but I inherited it from my old Nan three years ago and due to tax etc I need £800 for it.

unfortunately it hasnt got bbc2 for top gear, so will have to give it a miss.

put it on ebay,

it is a joke the inheritance tax, like, but the balance between whether it is paid or not depended on the price of my volvo s70. (and of course on or two other things which i managed to have "undervalued")

so its great news for me, it brings the total assets value below the threshhold (£325k) which means, i have got away with it again.

unfortunately with cars, they have a registered owner and they are not as easy to "make dissapear"

i did tell a bit of a porky from the outset...

it isnt my car, i am acting as a representative for someone else regarding the inheritance tax calculation.....solicitors...highwaymen in dusguise !!

On a more serious note, seems our friend has done his own MOT! MUST MEAN IT'S NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT'S WRITTEN ON! Do you have full DVLA MOT station compliance, whereby all MOT stations are required, by law, to be connected to the DVLA database?
Maybe the CV Boot is on the wrong foot!!!

To be fair this guy needs no lessons in how to sell a car! Look at how much attention this thread has attracted!

He is however a bit of an idiot for buying a saloon in the first place when he was going to use it for moving his mut around! Buy an estate next time.

He also states that something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it, I'm not willing to pay a penny for it so therefore it's worthless!!

At what the **** is with all the stickers? If anyone bought it like that then they would remove them, unless of course they were clinically insane!

lesson one... make your advert stand out...

lesson two... consider "timewasters" as prosperous purchasers..you may make tham have a change of heart...

lesson three...have a good laugh at the excuses what people make to not buy the item, the real reason being they havent got the money.

lesson four...prospective buyers will focus on the bad points of the item.. ie fake mot...but guys, i have my own mot centre in my living room,

lesson four and a half... do not take i o u`s for item, cash in hand only,

lesson five... hooded claw, your out....dont do credit.... no money... no ride..

lesson six...do as your told !! get an estate, you cannot drive around in a saloon with a dog crate / mut hut in the rear.

lesson seven...wait for someone with the money to biy the item, instead of all the timewasters with empty wallets.

lesson seven...havent thought of a lesson seven yet. see what else comes in.
