On both the c70 and v50 they could both do with the rubber door seals being replaced, the c70 most in need. i wondered how a big job is it to do and what kinda cost would i be looking at to have either of them done?

its not in urgent need but they bother me and id rather like to have them done if its not crazy money.

Hi there,
I had a problem.with perished rubber door seals on my S40, which is similar to your V50. I bought the whole set from breakers for £25. It took me about 10 minutes to replace one in the driver doors. No tools required, just a bit of patience.
Can't comment on C70 doors, sorry.

I hope this helps a little.

breakers or volvo main dealer,, they are not That expensive new,,
the tailgate one was a 2weeks order when i did mine this summer, easy enough to fit same as the door ones

invest in a can or 2 of that once you have replaced what needs replacing, it Works,
no more "frozen closed" doors etc
