Nebula refurb
I've had a set of Nebulas lying in my garage for a while now.
My regular 17's need tyres, so time to look at getting the Nebulas on the car. Need 4 tyres and a refurb, so need to sink several hundred in to them. I'd keep the 17's so the Nebulas can be put on another car or sold on when I move the current car on. Looking for opinions on colour choice and resale value of the wheels. Obviously assuming the wheels are clean with good tyres ! I'd be fitting them to an S60 in Polartic blue, so I'm thinking oem silver. |

No idea as to resale value as I've never bought any wheels unless they've had a car bolted to them. For colour I'd stick with silver as most people will accept that colour and it goes with any body colour where other wheel colours are a more personal taste choice.

There's a chart you must locate which has the specific silver paint code. There's something like 20 of them!

I wouldn't worry about trying to match the exact original colour code - this is not for an entry to the Pebble Beach Concours, just choose a nice bright silver metallic. Other coloured wheels e.g. black, may well not appeal to many people.
As for value, it depends on the quality of the refurb, the type (and age) of tyres on them and how much tread they have but I'd say £200 - £400. I had my S60 wheels professionally refurbished and that cost £250, then again I bought a set of Porsche Cup wheels which had a few scuffs but nothing too bad complete with Michelin Cup Sport tyres for £200.

Thanks for the replies. Got to say I agree with the colour of silver, but don't think I would be too bothered to get the exact paint code tbh.
