Default Indicator switch

Has anyone got a working indicator switch to fit a 66 amazon that they would let go to a good home. Hopefully will be able to book the old girl in for an MOT next week so any help with a switch would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Mitch

I think I may have one still attached to an old loom - will try to dig it out later tonight!

Sorry - didn't get the chance to look for it tonight, as just got home from taking two car loads of rubble etc to the dump (helping friends who have just redone their bathroom, including full replastering). Am in all evening tomorrow, so will find it then, as unlike most of the stuff in my shed, I know which box the indicator stalk is in!

I could do with an indicator switch that stays on for right hand turns. I tried replacing the spring with a newer one, then tried hooking two springs on but it still didn't stick. Is there a way of sorting this? Ultrasonic bath or something?

Found it! The chrome isn't great, but as best I can tell, the switch is in proper working order - stays in each position, and the self cancelling 'tabs' operate.

Try spacing the switch out with a washer under each of the screws, between the switch and its bracket. All the used ones have the same issue. CVI has had the switches re made recently. Usually the spacing trick works.
