Default Solution to over full oil sump

The overfull oil sump problem may never happen to my '12 XC70 D5 but if it does I'm now prepared courtesy of Lidl and the cost of £12.99. It's a 12v oil suction pump with a thin suction tube capable of being inserted down the dip stick channel.
